Rick Baloh ’91 (Pittsburgh, PA) Board Member

Brother Baloh is a senior oncology sales specialist for Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Rick brings tremendous value to the board having been an active brother during times of major changes for the Greek system at Penn State.

“Even though we are all different in many ways, we share the same common bond that will always link us no matter where we go or how old we get – the link of KDR Zeta.”


Dusan Bratic ’68, (Mechanicsburg, PA) Member at Large, Building Task Force Member

Brother Bratic is a founding partner of Bratic and Portko in Dillsburg, PA. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. As an undergraduate, he served the Chapter as rush chairman, social chairman and consul. He has been a member of the alumni board for over eight years.

John Burke ‘82 (Upper St. Clair, PA) Board Member

Since 1996, Brother Burke has been Chief Operating Officer of HUB One Logistics, Ltd., a supply chain management and logistics company based in Cheswick, PA. John is one of the founders of the annual KDR Alumni Golf Outing and served the chapter as consul.

“KDR helped us become what we are and I don’t want to lose it. I love cooking out at the house before our golf outing and coming back for Homecoming. As alumni, we need to keep KDR alive for ourselves and for future brothers.”


Tim Emenheiser ’73 (Lebanon, PA) President

Brother Emenheiser has been on the Alumni Board since 1977 and has served as the board’s president for ten of those years. As an agronomist for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service since 1972, he is dedicated to preserving natural resources such as soil, air and water and improving the quality of life for all of us. As an undergraduate, he served the Zeta Chapter as junior tribune and house manager.


Tom Fuchs ’66 (Williamsburg, Va.) Building Task Force Member

Brother Fuchs was vice president of sales and marketing for General Cable Corp., which manufactures electrical and data cable and wire products. Retired since 1996, he has been involved in the residential construction and building trades business. As an undergrad he served as pledge master, rush chairman, and vice president.

“My life at KDR provided me with experiences and insight that served me well throughout my professional career. I would like to see KDR restored to one of the elite fraternities so that others will continue to enjoy the same experiences I had.”


Jack Dandrea ’85 (Pittsburgh, PA) Treasurer

Alumni Board Treasurer since 2001, Brother Dandrea is a Second Vice President-Investments for Smith Barney in Pittsburgh.

“It is clear to me that the KDR house has grown ‘tired’ and is in need of a complete renovation to make it great again. We are working to restore the house to its stature as one of the elite fraternities at Penn State.”


William J. Gladish ’66 (Pittston, PA) Building Task Force Member

As the director of construction for the Geisinger Health System, Brother Gladish oversees the construction of a number of medical projects (about $22 million per year).

“If one is interested in seeing KDR continue to be a viable player at Penn State, outstanding alumni support must be part of it.”


Daniel Long ’58 (West Alexander, PA) Building Task Force Member

Brother Dan Long is an attorney with a private practice specializing in social security disability and SSI. During his junior year, Brother Long was praetor for the Zeta chapter.

“We really matured there, grew into manhood there. All the skills young men learn in the fraternity transfer into life.”


Kevin Keane ’80 (Pittsburgh, PA) Member at Large, Building Task Force Member

Brother Keane is senior vice president and regional operating partner for the Lincoln Property Company, a developer of institutional, commercial and residential real estate. He maintains that, as an undergrad, he held down the toughest job in the house when he served as caterer.

“The KDR experience I enjoyed has led me to encourage all of the college bound students that I speak with to give the Greek life a try. They will not regret it.”


Dennis Reese ’75 (Ada, MI) Member at Large, Building Task Force Member

Brother Reese is Chief Financial Officer of Priority Health, a 450,000 member-managed healthcare company providing commercial, Medicare and Medicaid health coverage in western and northern Michigan. As an undergraduate, Dennis was treasurer and consul of the Zeta Chapter.

“My experience at KDR—besides being a lot of fun with some great people—provided excellent practical training in finance and management and provided outstanding experience and growth. The memories of the house and all we did are some of the best of my life. I am looking forward to supporting the recent activity and efforts of the board and the important work that is being done.”


Bob Schilling ’73 (Doylestown, PA) Member at Large, Building Task Force Member

A member of the Alumni Board since 1994, Brother Schilling is president of Schilling Flosdorf Inc., a custom home builder and remodeler, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As an undergrad, Brother Schilling served as junior and senior tribune.

“The fraternity provided me with a comfort zone at a large university. It gave me an opportunity to experience college life with close friends and people I admired. In many ways my fraternity experiences molded who I am.”


Mickey Sowko ’75 (State College, PA) Building Task Force Member

For the past 19 years, Mick has been president of Centre Glass Company, which installs auto, commercial and residential glass.He served the chapter as an undergraduate as vice president, house manager and assistant pledge master.

“In just four short undergraduate years you make lifelong friendships with a bond unlike any other friendships that you’ll have the rest of your life.”


Charles Weyandt ’60 (Julian, PA) Member at Large

Brother Weyandt has been a Board Member since 2004, and previously served on the Board from 1967-70 and as Alumni President from 1967-71. He received a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 1967 and retired from law in 2003.

“I chose to get involved with the alumni board again because my KDR experience meant so much to me. I think it’s important that active brothers hear the stories and traditions that are part of our unique history.”


Greg Woodman ’80 (State College, PA) House Adviser

Brother Woodman is CEO of State College-based Affinity Connection, a firm that specializes in consulting non-profits and member-based organization on marketing, communications and fundraising. He served the chapter as consul in 1980.

“I want to make the KDR of today and the future a great place for brotherhood, community, friendships, and fun. I learned so much in my years there and believe that it is still the best leadership development program for college students.”
