Regret to inform you that Andy was brain-damaged in auto accident 3/15/94. His condition has deteriorated to the point where he requires care in a nursing home. He was determined incapable of managing personal or business decisions by physicians and court in 1997. I am now his guardian. We’ve been married 50 years (I’m a Tri-Delt from PSU) and have many happy memories of time spent at Phi Kappa Sigma. Sometimes Andy can remember back to those days but mostly his memory is lost. Nat Netscher was in our wedding. Should anyone come through Atlanta (Austell is a suburb) they’re welcome to call or come by. Sincerely,Mary Ellen Shore

Noted the photo of me in Psidelights. I believe that was taken in 55. Meanwhile, I continue with our two businesses along with my son who manages our 25-year-old commercial printing business here in Houston. I continue to travel the world as a technology training consultant for my 265-client Marriott, Renaissance and Ritz-Carlton hotels. My wife Dorothy, who has almost as many flyer miles as I do, almost always accompanies me. Were looking forward to celebrating our 45th this year somewhere in Europe or the Middle East. I still enjoy the challenge of our own business, but both my son and I have our eye on two of our eight grandchildren who show interest, even now, to take over someday.

After 12 years in the Army and 31 years of medical practice I have retired. I’m frequently asked what I’m doing in retirement. My answer is , “” I’m enjoying most of all just being completely worthless.”” It’s so great to take two hours to get up in the morning! Travels have included a windjammer cruise off the coast of Maine (I really recommend it), Cape Cod for Thanksgiving, California for Christmas, and coming up to Japan, Quebec, and then back to Maine next summer for an Elderhostel (I recommend those too for all “”elders””, but you only have to be 55 to qualify). I’m also starting to fly airplanes again after a 10 year lay-off. I get my exercise bicycling and doing house work( my wife emphasized that she is retired to). If any of you dudes get near San Antonio, TX, give us a call/e-mail.
